Filmic Games:
I am currently half way through “Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children” and I was struck by the awful state of cinema when it comes to films based on computer games.
I think FF7AC is the only half decent one I’ve seen. Doom is tripe, Street Fighter is entertaining tripe, the Mortal combat films are tripe, Super Mario Bros… I don’t have words to describe how bad this film is, all concerned should be ashamed of themselves.Anyone spot a pattern yet?
Mind you it seems rather daft that most of the films out there baed on games are based on “beat ‘em ups” which are not exactly plot based… Read the rest of this entry »
